Thanks to the coordinating efforts of Dave Earle and the tremendous work of Tony Vafiades and Dennis Irish and our own caretaker, Clyde Anderson, the old farmhouse at Lakewood Lodge got a much needed new roof this past weekend. This most likely saved the building from disaster as we look forward to another Maine winter with lots of snow and ice and we can't thank them enough for taking time out of their busy schedules to make this happen. Well done guys!
Next up, there's some sill and foundation work to be done. If you or anyone you know has the skills and the heart for this ministry and would like to contact us about tackling this job next spring please feel free to reach out to us. We rely so much on the volunteerism and donations of our friends and fellow believers in the Northern New England region and are so thankful for the many projects that have been completed over the years by folks just like you. God bless you all for your continued efforts.
Also a big thanks to Tim Brown for lending us scaffolding for the job.
